All Things Finance with Efe Gulcu is a two-course introduction to making decisions with money: first your own, then a company’s.
Across both courses, you will work with real numbers, weigh real tradeoffs, and practice the skill underneath all of finance: making a decision on purpose and being able to explain why.
The two courses approach that from different directions:
- Personal Finance 101: I can manage my own money.
Learn where your paycheck actually goes, work out the real cost of big purchases like a car or a home, see how interest, credit cards and savings work, and finish by building a complete monthly budget with tradeoffs you can explain.
- Corporate Finance: I can think like a company does.
Start with what it costs to make and sell a single product, build up to a company’s full financial statements, judge which of two real public companies is healthier, and finish by defending a business recommendation with numbers, the way a CFO would to a board.
Together, the courses move from your own wallet to a company’s balance sheet.
The questions get bigger, but the thinking stays the same: know where the money goes, count the full cost, weigh risk against return, and be ready to defend your choice.
Each course is a self-paced weekend intensive, so the whole bundle fits into two weekends.
Who is this for?
Anyone curious about how money works, whether that means their first paycheck, a big purchase, or how companies decide what to spend on.

You do not need a job yet.
You do not need to be planning a career in finance or business.
You should be willing to work through the material on your own and make real tradeoffs, because you can’t have the best of everything, and learning to choose is the point.
